MakerWorld printing FAQ
Do I need to download the MakerWorld file?
No. Paste the model’s MakerWorld link and the quote tool reads the designer’s print profile information. We get the file ourselves once you order.
How is the price worked out?
We use the print time and filament weight from the designer’s own sliced print profile for the plates you choose, then apply our rates for the material you pick. You see the price before you order.
Which print profiles can I choose?
Print profiles published by the model’s designer. Community and remix profiles aren’t offered in the instant quote. If the model you want has no designer profile, ask us for a quote.
Can I choose a different material or colour?
Yes. You can choose a stocked colour for each filament colour in the profile, and a compatible alternative material where one is offered. Alternative materials are estimated from the designer’s profile, and we check suitability before printing.
Where do you deliver?
MakerWorld link orders are printed in North Wales and delivered within the UK.
Who owns the design?
The design always remains the original creator’s work. We print a copy for you and check the model and production settings before printing.
